FAQs

  • Coming to church for the first time can be intimidating. We want to help make your first experience at BP Church a great one!

    In total, a BP Church service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the BP Church band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected on to the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

  • Advancing the Kingdom is the name of our building project.

    Our ministry space is currently too small for our ministry needs. We went from one service to three and are now looking at running a fourth service on the weekend to facilitate what God is doing. Our children’s space is maxed out, youth space on Friday nights is limited, our language school is full and on top of all that our parking lot is too small. We are having a hard time finding space to facilitate new ministries and new ministry needs. So, we are building a new ministry facility.

  • At BP Church, we aim to create an inviting and respectful atmosphere for all attendees. We want you to feel comfortable as you are while maintaining a sense of reverence for the worship environment. Our congregation is very diverse from all over the world, so you will see people dressed in traditional clothes from back home, typical Calgary office attire or just in jeans and a T-shirt. We truly believe God is more concerned about how we look on the inside than the outside.
