KNOW GOD
We are passionate about helping people discover who God is and how He wants to be involved in their everyday life.
EMBRACE CHRIST
We Embrace Christ by believing the gospel and become increasingly more engaged in worship.
We can only worship when we know who we are worshipping and why we are worshipping. Understanding the basic message of the Christian faith that Christ died for us and took away our sins so those who call on His name will be forgiven and set free is an amazing truth that will compel you to embrace Christ.
Humanity does not need to seek salvation any longer in money, prestige, possession, power, or even people, only in Christ can salvation be found.
DEPENDANT IN PRAYER
We become Dependent in Prayer when prayer becomes a normal and natural part of our lives. It’s easy to live in your own strength, but being dependent in prayer realizes that the most significant change in our lives happen through consistent faith-filled prayers and reliance upon God.
THOUGHTS ON KNOWING GOD
Prepare for our Corporate Gatherings | Spend some time preparing yourself for the worship service. As you approach the building, take a moment to stop and thank God for your church. Tell Him you’re looking forward to meeting Him in worship today and pray that God will prepare your heart to worship Him. Consider even praying for others as they enter the church, as well.
Understand the Sacrifice of Praise and Worship | God deserves our worship. There will be times when we don’t feel like worshiping Him, but it’s those times that we press in and bring the sacrifice of praise. We can’t wait for the worship leader to get us warmed up, sometimes we just have to enter in and know that we are doing the right thing.
Move from Expectation to Expectancy | It’s easy to come to church with expectations of the worship or the message, and we may put self-imposed limits on what we think we may get out of it. But when we come with expectancy that God will be here and that He desires to move and change us, it’s easier to experience everything He has for us.
